The Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for:
The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for managing the planning, co-ordination and control of manufacturing, assembly and storage processes and the welfare of all operational staff.
Agree goals, objectives and targets for the site and individuals
Conduct regular workplace inspections and site walk arounds in conjunction with the Site Supervisor
Develop and update risk assessments to manage risks.
Ensure health, safety and environmental guidelines are always followed
Responsible for the site, including COMAH obligations and other requirements.
Ensure down time is minimised.
Carry out performance appraisals of all direct reports
The Assistant Operations Manager will need to be:
Experienced working within COMAH Regulations OR have experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Must have some Health and Safety Training of some degree.
Have people and team management experience and able to demonstrate this.
