Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst you will concentrates on projects related to changes in our IT systems, as well as projects that heavily involve the use of IT, Data, and technology to solve a business problem.
You will be expected to understand, from a business perspective, what the requirements are and how a particular IT process or procedure needs to work, before relaying this information to the solution development teams. You will also relay information from the development teams back to the business, translating any technical information into business language. It’s important that everyone understands the implications of the process.
Bridging the gap between the IT team and rest of the business, such as operations, marketing, finance, and HR, you will negotiate business requirements with stakeholders. Then analyse and document requirements to present a business case.
Once you have defined the Business Case and Technical Specification you will also assume a project management role to assist the Solution Development Team with blockers and ensure deliverables are met.
Success is measured by adoption; this role will also have an element of documentation, learning and user development to ensure end users have the tools required to ensure successful adoption.

  • Project experience using the likes of Prince 2, Agile PM, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma or PM equivalents.
  • Previous experience in managing and delivering IT projects.
  • Previous experience in handling change & innovation within organisations.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge and experience in documentation writing and management

Desirable Skills to be a Senior Business Analyst
  • Fluent English is essential, 2nd & 3rd languages matching countries where we operate would be advantageous.
  • Relevant experience linked to the activities & responsibilities listed above, as well as engaging with transversal teams and the ability to navigate in a Matrix
  • Experience in application & Solution design
  • Experience in customisation & configuration
  • Knowledge of IT tools, CRM/ticketing, and other support/data analytics systems.
  • Data management & analysis - Data Modeling & Design
  • Helpdesk & IT Support - Change management (ITIL)
